Tue Jun 24, 2008 4:54 pm

ay ang sakit ng sikmura ko just by looking at the pics na kasunod, halos bumaliktad yata ang feeling ng sikmura ko, yaksssss, para tuloy akong na turned-off ng kumain ng chicken (pero tama ka Larry, ang sarap tingnan lalo na bagong fried and very crispy). Talagang very informative yung pics mo and somehow it will really make us realise kailngan talaga i-review mo kung anung klaseng resto yung kakainan lalo na dyan sa Pinas. Musta ka na Larry, i know you are busy pero you always find time to post a very informative topic here sa Kapihan. Yes, i am very happy kasi nakakapost na ulit ako here, kaya heto na ako ulit.....hopefully no more glitched this time.

I also hope and pray na sana maka-recover din ng mabilis yung mga people na naaapektuhan ng bagyong si Frank, which created a lot of misery and destruction, kaya i was always watching the news about Phils this last few days to get updated. My heart goes also to the family of those people drowned/missing dun sa Sulpicio Lines, its terrible, hope they will find comfort and answers soon with Gods help as always.

And sa lahat kayo - Freddie, Letty, ATG, Ramir, Manny Ace, Jaime, Prislette & Jun, Thelma, Dodi, - kumusta na kayong lahat and my best regards and to Jun Papa - hello, remember me? classmates din tayo during I-2, still got the photo. Nice to read your postings here and hope to read more from you.

Take care everyone and my love to all of you!

PostSubject: Hell sa inyong lahat batchmates!   Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:57 am

Good evening! Yes, medyo busy ako for the past few days & still tutok pa rin sa news about the recent typhoon 'Frank' na talagang grabe ang naging pinsala sa, especially sa parteng Iloilo na halos umabot sa bubong ng bahay ang baha & also the ill-fated MV "Princess of the Stars" na talagang nag-upside/down due to strong wind, wave & rains. Hope & pray that all those who were badly affected may recover soon.

Larry -> thanks for forwarding the e-mail which looks like a "real chicken pero hindi pala" & it's good you've posted it here din for everybody's info & awareness. Hay naku, mas safe talaga ang lutong-bahay di ba? Hindi ko pa naipapakita to my kids that particular e-mail, baka hindi na magsikain ng chicken eh! Thanks too for the postings those healthy food, especially sa age natin, we're all not getting younger di ba, kaya dapat lang to watch our health always

Ehris-> hello again, happy to read your message here. Oo nga, nakakabaliktad ng sikmura yung ipinost ni Larry na "parang chicken at yummy tingnan, pero it's not really a real chicken". Hay naku, talagang mas dapat lang na palaging tayo ang magluto for our family di ba? At least wala ka ng problemang magpost here ulit

Net -> hi & enjoyed reading what you've posted. Busy pa rin ba?

Pareng Jun -> I'm happy dahil we attended AHS 102nd Founding Anniversary this morning (Wed., June 25). It's good kasi we were there during the Thanksgiving Mass, as well as the speeches of the present AHS Principal (Miss Angela Y. Ong) & the special guest na si Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim. I've already forwarded the pictures sa mga personal e-mail addressed ninyo & even requesting Larry to kindly post some of them here para makita ng ibang batchmates natin the new AHS building na isinabay na rin na i-bless ni Rev. Fr. Danilo B. Gozar, S.J., hindi na nga lang natin tinapos ang ibang activities kasi you have to report for work, I have to look sa kulang na book of my youngest daughter kasi hindi pa nga nai-deliver ng complete ng school nila & I need to go home early din dahil half day lang school my eldest. And at least nakapag-lunch pa tayo with Racquel di ba?

To everybody -> regards & hope you're all doing fine!!! Razz

PostSubject: Back from Hibernation......   Thu Jun 26, 2008 12:17 am

Dearest batchmates, hello sa inyong lahat diyan,

Well, well, well, I did not realize that I have been away from the Forum for more than a month now. If I recall, the last posting that I made was a Mother's Day Greetings., Naku, sorry Sad sa lahat, A very Much Belated Father's Day to all the "POGI" Dads over there. Did I need to tell my alibi???

I saw in TV Patrol the damage that typhoon Frank has made in the Phils. Grabe ano? Pero para yatang parating may bagyo diyan? The last that I heard was "Milenio" ba?

Last Mother's Day, Jun treated me to an " all day" shopping spree, after having " Brunch" at IHOP. Tapos noon, nag dinner sa isang Japanese Restaurant, then we went to see the movies. We saw " Iron Man" . Noong Memorial Day weekend naman, we went to attend an all day Jazz Festival in Sacramento, CA, about an hour's drive from home.

Last June 10th, my dearest Jun turned 48 y/o. Every year, this is the time that I always "shove it in his face" that he is "older " than me, until I turn the same age come August. This past Father's Day naman, we went on a 4 day trip to Palm Springs. ( No kids). Naku parang " honeymoon " uli. We stayed at Palm Springs Resort & Spa, just to relax, shop, dine out, watch movies. Every night, Jun would swim in the pool, ako, naman, hindi. Hindi kasi ako marunong lumangoy. Then, nag pa " facial & massage" kami. Now, back to the "old" routine, trabaho uli. Razz Razz )

My dear friends:

Wala bang land slide this time? How is the ministry? Still keeping you busy? Is there another addition to the " Tan" clan?

Letty: A very long overdue " Thank You" for the phone call last time. Thank you sa concern, pero I was all ok at healthwise, ok din. Siguro , akala mo nagkasakit uli ako ano? Ang "sweet" naman sa pag-aalala. Pasukan na uli ng mga bata ano? Pero na suspend agad dahil sa bagyo. Anong pictures ang sinasabi mo? Nasaan?

How's the family? Nahirapan ka palang mag log-in uli ano?

You said they will stay there for a while, di ba? Mag-aaral yung mag-asawa? You will have all the time w/ the baby. Ang bunso ko si Jerry Joe, is already 18 y/o & just graduated High School last June 12th. School starts September, so ngayon, bakasyon siya. Maghahanap daw ng summer job to keep him occupied. My eldest naman, who is an Engineer, will have a job interview out of town. If he gets this job, & if it is a better offer, he will have to move to Santa Cruz, CA.

Maganda ang poem mo, pero, bakit wala yatang " personal" kuwento about you, or your family? Kuwento ka naman, how's life, work, kids, hubby, etc?

Trifee: Congrats about your new job. I know that it is a lot of sacrifice on your part to be away from your family. How far is Virginia from your home? Can you go home on weekends? Yes, you are right, sometimes it is hard but not to think that what we do as parents, spouse, family is all a sacrifice. You know why? It is because we want to give our kids the best that we can offer, most especially those things that we never had nor ever experienced as a child, those things that we have been longing for.... we want for them to have what we never had. ( I feel that way , too w/ my kids)

Freddie: Hello, again. Are you coming back to Manila? Is your Indonesia assignment done & over with? Still no news about Elmer??? By the way, a few nights ago, I saw Rico Puno in the Filipino Channel, I think he was one of the Judges in a singing competition. I can't remember the name of the show. It was the first time I saw it. Anyway, I was truly surprised to see that he has " hair" again. The last time I saw him in TV, he was balding already. I remembered what you said about " Svenson". I still remembered what you said.

Razz Razz Razz So I guess you are moving closer to where you work. True, the price of gasoline is so ridiculously high & outrageous. Over here, it has gone up to almost $5.00 a gallon. In the past, I fill up w/ $ 20.00 only, nowadays, a fill up costs almost $ 80.00, & I fill-up my gas tank every third day.

Jaime: Hello dearie!! Nice of you to call me at work, pero, pasensiya ka na at masyadong busy at no time to "chat" Nahihiya nga ako sa iyo, pero, hindi maiwanan ang pasyenteng manganganak na. Kita na lang tayo sa 2010. Or di kaya, bakasyon ka naman dito sa US. Jun & I will be happy to accomodate you & bring you around.

Ehris: Yes, long time na akong hindi naka post. Well, ganoon talaga. By the way I started my computer class last Saturday, 9-10 am. One hour class lang every other Saturday.

She said that there was a gathering at her house, you & your family were there ,too. But I said that she never introduced us, but she introduced me to your wife, That I remembered, I guess all the women were just talking in the kitchen & she said that the guys were in the backyard barbecueing. That was a very long time ago. She said that your family were also present at her father's funeral wake, w/c I don't recall seeing you there, I guess it was because there were a lot of people there. Hope to have a get together here once you are back home. let's plan it. When will you be relieved of duty? Any vacation plans? Let me know, ok?

Ramir: Nasaan ka na? Are you still on vacation in Pinas or back in Dubai? No new postings from you too.

I hope wala akong nakalimutan..... kamusta kina Sam, Ompong, Pye, Rudy Victor, Merle, sana mag post si Elizabeth, sana nga madagdagan pa tayo. The more, the merrier.

Miss yah all,
prislette Smile

PostSubject: The long & much-awaited message of Prislette!   Thu Jun 26, 2008 8:48 pm

A pleasant day everybody!

Larry -> happy to chat & talked to you by phone last night! Dami pa sana nating pagku-kwentuhan kaya lang na-cut-off tayo, anyhow, at least I heard your voice & you've said you're doing ok naman, yun nga lang very busy pa rin (kakambal mo na yata iyon eh). As per my request to you last night, pls. post naman here some pictures (that is kung free ka lang naman, thanks in advance ha!) taken during Merle's welcome party & the 102nd Founding Anniversary of AHS, kasi Prislette asked about it in her recent message

Prislette -> yesssss..... I'm really happy when Larry told me last night that you have a lonnnnnnnggggg.... message here, totoo nga parang nobela, talagang bumawi ka agad after your last posting na 1 month ago na rin pala iyon ano (ganun kabilis ang paglipas ng araw lalo pa nga at palagi ka ring busy). Nakakataba rin ng puso that you really have to read all the messages that you've missed before posting here. Good to know that you're doing ok, as well your whole family, hope ganun din ang mom mo. Thanks for sharing to us about your shopping spree during Mother's day as per Jun's treat to you, as well as yung Father's Day vacation nyo naman, tama lang nama iyon sa magkaroon kayo ng bonding moments & away from work & kids too. By the way Prislette, pls. extend to Jun my warm belated greetings of happy birthday last June 10, ngayon ko lang nalaman about his birthday kaya I kept in on my record book para sa susunod ay hindi ko mapalampas. Fyi, I've read word by word your message & happy to know that you're now having your computer lessons, talagang you take it seriously na mag-aral ng computer & tama lang iyan para in case matuloy nga ang plan ni Jun to give you a laptop ay marami ka ng alam in using the computer. Prislette, I will be sending you by separate e-mail the pictures taken from my camera during Merle's welcome party. Tama ka Prislette, hindi pa nga nagpo-post si Elizabeth Balila & you were classmates nung 4th year. You're such a sweet person too, kaya nga I miss you a lot. Regards to you & your family ha!

To all of you -> hello & warm regards! Wink

Here's a joke for all of us to smile & relax na rin:
- Use DEDICATE in a sentence : Pag ginamitan mo yan ng glue DEDICATE (didikit) yan
- How about CONTINUE : Kahapon ang dami-dami nyo, bakit ngayon ang CONTINUE (konti nyo)
- Idagdag pa natin ang VIOLET : I lost my cellphone, di bale I'll VIOLET (buy ulit)
- Nyeehhh..., natawa ba kayo kahit papaano? bounce

PostSubject: Hello Ulit...

I discovered a place in Tagaytay where they grow organic mushrooms. May dried at may fresh mushrooms. Masarap ang mushroom burgers nila. Pag type ko ang kare-kare, nagluluto pa rin ako nito pero instead of beef or pork, mushroom na ang ginagamit kong substitute. Busy ka pa rin ba? Wag masyadong magpagod ha? Need to have a balance of hard work and play.

Hello sweet Letty, a lot of people were looking for you during Joley's party. Told them that you truly wanted to come but of course, family safety first before pleasure.

Yesh...my daughter is here. While palagi akong puyat ngayon, funny that I don't get sick. Iba talaga pag masaya mong ginagawa ang isang bagay. Lyra (my daughter) and her hubby (TJ) are looking at some schools to study nursing or PT. Since they're "second coursers", baka naman matapos nila ito in two years. When I was there in 2006, dollar 59 lang ang gasolina.

Hi Ehris...how was your week?

Jun P....buti naman you're moving back to Makati. Sobrang heavy traffic na papuntang South. Kahit week-ends traffic. Always take care...Next time...ulitin mo yung song na "what matters most"...super ganda ang rendition mo...

Rudy I...kumusta ka na, my friend?

PostSubject: HAPPY 4TH OF JULY SA MGA AMERICAN-AHS BATCHMATES!   Fri Jul 04, 2008 10:44 pm

To ALL American-AHS Batchmante .... HAPPY 4th of July "Independence Day"

It has been a while since I posted here. How is everybody doing? I know ka-experience lang ng malakas na bagyo dyan sa Pinas. It was realy sad na maraming nasalanta, binaha and the Ship the over turned. Independece Day Celebration here is very quiet not like in CONUS, bawal ang fireworks dito - alam nyo na baka hindi lang fireworks eh (totoong fireworks talaga - bombs and bullets). We had a feast in our chowhall - the usual (rib eye steaks, barbecue chicken, barbecue pork ribs, fried rice, macaroni cheese, apple pie, corn bread and so on and so forth).

Larry--super busy ka talaga dyan sa work mo. Very informative and pinakita mo na chicken a la rat but that is ok lang naman. Did not turn my stomach, I have eaten worse kasi sa SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape) Training - we are taught to live off the land. Survival of the fittest, recognize edible plants, roots and eat animals that are not so appetizing but you have to in order to survive.

Prislette--I heard that you called Tita Nieva. Naalala mo pa pala yung wake ni Lolo Bernie. Actually I visited him on his last days sa hospital until Lolo Bernie passed away. I helped out Tita Nieva and Tito Phillip during that time - choosing the coffin, doing the program until the viewing. Then they flew Lolo Bernie to the Philippines di ba. I know malapit lang ang bahay mo kanila Tita Nieva sa Hercules, palagi naman ako nagpupunta sa Hercules - I used to do a lot of work duon. When I get back to the 'world', let's get together ok.

Letty, Freddie,Ehris, Mathel--Kumusta na kayo dyan? Thanks sa concern and for all the messages. I hope you are all fine sa Pinas,Aussie, in your travels and wherever you all are. We had several severe dust storms here lately, it was so bad - the dust gets into everything. It gets in every orifice of your body, food, tents - all over. It cleared up now, but it is very unpredictable so we just keep our guard up for any weather changes.

To ALL Batchmates, kumusta take care always and God Bless.

PostSubject: I AM BACK AFTER A LONG VACATION HERE BUT NOT IN THE MINISTRY   Sat Jul 05, 2008 1:20 am

Proven na kaya nga tumaas ang rate ng cancer victims and deaths during the height when both analog and digital cellphones were introduced worldwide! WELL SALAMAT LETICIA AT NAGKAKARON TAYO NG TIME TO TALK KASI PAREHO TAYONG GLOBE LINES. YUNG IBA SANYONG NAKA-GLOBE BROADBAND YOU MAY CALL ME FREE LANG KASI MAY FEATURE NA GANUN, CALL ME AT 074-2440038. EXCLUSIVE FOR FORUMOTION LANG PLS.

PRISLETTE > GRabe wow!!! Lalo na ang MV Princess of the Stars, wala akong masabi!!! WE SHOULD ALWAYS INCLDE THEM IN OUR PRAYERS!!! Happy Birthday in advance hane? Ano bibili ka na ba ng laptop? Wow di ok na, lagi ka na ditto hehe!!! Miss ka naming talaga pagnawawala ka!!! Belated Happy Birthday kay Jun hane? Please tell him!!!!

Though I know sometimes emotions are so unstable but I guess it's the whole head over heart in your case kasi ang mga professional, career women as I have observed are into objective and not subjective rationale!!!!

ATG > Welcome back, good nakapasok ka ulit, we terribly missed you kapatid!!!! Haaaay, sorry Jo!!!!

Good nabalik kayo nila ATG uli, ang saya. AKO PAGPASENSYAHAN NYO PALAGI AKONG WALA!!! I hope na-enjoy mo din ang Kyuti Kamustahan, madami sila talaga doon!!! JUN PAPA > Haaaaaaay salamat finally!!!! We missed you sooooooo much!!! Hope to hear you always here hane?

MANNY CAGAPE > Sir, GANUN? HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!! Oo kaka-miss yung fireworks lalo na nong nandyan pa ko we used to go visit Dana Point Harbor (kasi Orange County kami ni Misis eh, Calif,

kasi malapit ang Laguna Niguel dyan at ang super saya, dyan nga sa USA, parang walang New Year's Celebration eh ano?, sa Time Square lang yata ang sobrang pagwelcome ng bagong taon. Every year as the clock nears midnight on December 31st, the eyes of the world turn once more to the dazzling lights and bustling energy of Times Square, grabe talaga ang preparations at amazing fireworks!!! Anticipation runs high during that time. New Year's Eve at the symbolic center of New York City ay naging more than just a celebration - it's a global tradition bale eh di po ba Sir. The world holds its breath...and cheers as the clocks strike twelve.

Makita mo yung famous New Year's Eve Ball descends from the flagpole atop One Times Square, mga isang milyung tao ang nasa Times Square, and millions nationwide and over a billion watching throughout the world are united in bidding a collective farewell to the departing year, and expressing their joys and hope for the year ahead. ibang iba ang america pero doon lang ha, hahahah! Iba pa din ang Pinas.

I DON'T KNOW GUYS IF YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME THAT WHEN WE WERE YET YOUNG, PAG-MAY MGA STROLLS TAYO OR OUT-OF-TOWN, WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME HA, WAS LIKE THE KIND OF PLACE NA BIBISITAHIN KO…. KASAMA ANG PAGKAIN. PERO NOONG TUMANDA AKO, GOING PLACES ONLY MATTERS BECAUSE OF THE KIND OF COMPANY I AM WITH. MAS IMPORTANTE ANG TAO KESA SA LUGAR NAPUPUNTAHAN KO. KAYO?

ISA PANG big time celebration ay ang 4th of July at Thanksgiving. Pag-Pasko aba nasa work ang tao, wala ito.

Plus of course, Noreena, Maria Teresa Bautista, Alex Labial, Ompong, Sam, lahat ng nasa Forumotion lang please, please, I hope they will understand me. Iba't iba kasi tayong pagkatao, saka hindi ako mayaman to accomodate so many people, IF YOU WILL CONSIDER ANG BAHAY KO DITO AY SUPER DAMI LAGI ANG BISITA, MAY DORMS SA SCHOOLS NAMIN KAYA AS IN MAHIRAP. PLEASE TELL RACQUEL NA I CHANGED MY MIND SA NAPAGUSAPAN NAMIN IN PASSING NA KUNG PWEDE DITONG MAGRETREAT, I KNOW KAYANG KAYA NAMANG MAG-ORGANIZE SA IBANG VENUES HERE, NAHIHIYA NAMAN AKONG KUMASYA SILA SA MALIIT KONG PARAISO DITO....... NAG-USAP KAMI NI MISIS, AT NAINTINDIHAN KO SIYA! SOBRA KASING UMAAPAW ANG MGA ACCOMODATIONS NAMIN, MAHIRAP. What is important ay bukas ang bahay ko sa Forumotion Kapihan aficionados!!!!!! PostSubject: Hi Batchmates!!!   Sat Jul 05, 2008 3:18 am

A pleasant day everyone! I'm happy to read your messages here today.

Thelma -> nice to know that your daughter, son-in-law & especially your apo were here na sa Pinas, super saya sa bahay di ba kapag may baby? Suwerte ang apo nyo for having you & Bon as their grandparents, lalo pa nga at kayang-kaya nyo pang mag-alaga di ba? Ganyan din my 2 kids when they were still babies, they slept more deeply kapag nasa dibdib ko or ni Roel, nararamdaman nila yung warmth natin, yung pintig ng puso & the soft whispers, kisses, embraces we're giving to them, kahit pagod tayo. Thanks a lot Thelma for telling our batchmates, especially Jo the reason why I was not at Jo's welcome party. But I'm happy na rin kasi I've heard na naging masaya & besides, I've seen the pictures taken by Manny Cortez which he posted sa AHS Multiply link. I've text Jo naman & she replied & hope she arrived safely sa Chicago & enjoyed her short vacation here sa Pinas

Manny.Ace.Fresh -> happy to hear from you once again & belated happy 4th of July! Yes, I believe you when you've said "survival of the fittest", kasi I normally watch a documentary events in Geographical Channel & Real Stories in cable channel & they feature nga yung mga buhay ng mga sundalo lalo pa at nasa liblib na lugar sila, they just eat whatever they seem edible, kahit yung mga worms na nakukuha nila sa mga patay ng puno, etc... & even rain water ay iniinom din nila di ba. As always, take care & we pray for your safety.

Larry -> same here, masaya ako kasi nakapag-usap na naman tayo ulit by phone after few days din na nawalan kayo ng dial tone kaya lately ka na lang ulit nakapag-post. Yes, aware din ako & my whole family of over using a cellphone, normally text lang kami & bihirang-bihira ang calls, in case emergency lang talaga. Noted all the other things in your posted message. Congrats nga pala to Jeff & Nhing for having a new baby boy & siyempre to you at nadagdagan na ulit ang apo ninyo ng wife mo, hello to her & sweet kisses to Pia ha!

To all my other AHS batchmates -> hello & warm regards!!!

Just a thought : Each of us represents a star in the sky; sometimes we shine with the rest; sometimes we twinkle alone; and sometimes, when we least expect it, we fall & make someone's dream come true. Razz

PostSubject: Its so nice to read your post again Larry and hi everyone   Sat Jul 05, 2008 7:03 pm

Hello and hi sa inyong lahat mga mahal kong batchmates. Hope each of you is always in good health. Akala ko i cannot post here again kasi for the last past few days pag nagbabasa ako ng forumotion natin hindi ako maka-reply as it wont let me. Ewan ko ba, siguro kung anu-ano ng yung napipindot ng daliri ko kaya nalilito na rin yung computer sa akin (ha ha), but nag log in ako ulit and presto...nakapost na naman ako ulit which i am really dying to do!

Larry > kumusta ka na? I'm very happy to read your post and alam mo talagang up to now pag naiisip ko yung chicken, ay natuturn-off ako talaga, i guess hindi talaga matapang yung sikmura ko pag dating sa ganyan. I avoided and still trying to avoid eating chicken now, kasi everytime naalala ko yung pics, ayaw talagang tanggapin ng sikmura ko yung chicken (ha ha - duwag ko noh?). Ako nga, including my family, we avoid using cellph as much as possible, kung hindi talagang need be, we don't use it. I guess same thing with those Ipods, proven din na very damaging ang effect sa ear, eh sa mga teen-agers and adults too, they think sige masarap makinig sa malakas ng tunog pero they don't realise in the end heavily damaged yung eardrum nila. Its winter here, malamig, maulan and my boys just recovered from flu and asthma. Last week was chaos, kaya medyo stressed out ako, but i'm fine now. Congrats nga pala Larry, lolo ka na naman, i'm sure even Frances is very happy, baby boy for Jeff and Nhing. Anung feeling ng maging lolo ulit? I'm sure you're a doting one! Please extend my wishes to Jeff & Nhing too! And about you, always take time to "smell the roses" ha, huag mong kakalimutan yung "slow dance", which is very applicable na ngayon sa ating lahat. Take care and my best regards to the family. Hopefully nga pala Larry, next year makauwi ako, and ikaw ang isa sa mga priorities ko na gusto kong makita at ma-hug in person.

Hi Letty > musta ka na my dear friend? Hindi pa ako maka-chat sa yo, i've been pre-occupied lately, sa bagong role ko sa new job, sa mga anak ko na nagkasakit and overall to myself - i've been learning a few new things eh i guess medyo rusty na ako, so have to catched-up a bit, ganun yata pag me edad Letty (ha ha). Musta mga bata? My kids are on 2 weeks term break, also WYD here and the Pope is coming to celebrate it with youths from all over the world. Hopefully, we can attend the mass that the Pope iscelebrating doon sa school ngmga anak ko. Musta mo rin ako kay Roel and i'll chat with you soon. Take care Letty.

Hi Thelma, i'm so happy to have spoken with you finally over the phone, who would think that after 30 years or so we would end up chatting and reminiscing all the good old times of highschool, careers, and family. Its good to have heard your voice and we did really have a good laugh diba? Para tayong highschool girls ulit. Take care and enjoy your time with your apo, regards to Bon and hopefully we chat again soon.

Hello Manny, how are you? Sarap naman ng food nyo during the 4th of July celeb. Ingat ka lagi and its really good to have read your post again. Lagi kang included sa prayers ko. Wala akong ibang masasabi but take the very best care of yourself always.

Take care and chat with you ulit soon. (oo nga pala, tama ka, i need to log in para makapost).

To Jun Papa, ATG, Freddie, Jaime, Ramir, Nanette, Dodi - musta na kayong lahat and take care always.

"Ehris" I love you

A pleasant day everyone!

Ehris -> hi to you my dear friend! Sad to hear na nagkasakit your 2 gwapings? Ikaw din, you take care too, lalo pa nga at you're working na then trabaho rin pagdating sa bahay. Hope your husband is ok. Naku swerte nyo naman & the Pope will be there sa Australia to celebrate the World Youth Day & even visiting your kids' school, wherein pwedeng-pwede kayong maka-attend ng Mass ni Pope, pls. update us here about Pope's visit ha!

To all of you my dear batchmates -> warm regards & ingat kayong lahat palagi! Smile

PostSubject: GREETINGS FROM SAND STORM BLASTED IRAQ   Mon Jul 07, 2008 5:06 pm

Kumusta uli mga Batchmates!

Larry--How are you my Friend? Tama ka Larry, ang New Years sa States is almost just another Holiday - only on very few places na mayroon BIG celebration katulad nga sa Times Square New York or Vegas and some parts of California. I try to watch the New Years Eve Ball drop sa Times Square to mark the beginning of the New Year. Dito sa lugar namin (sa US) may malapit na Indian reservation; usually they have fireworks show every year din. Kaya nga I miss Pinas every New Years Eve ... kasi nga sa dami ng putukan, ibang iba talaga sa US na normally, after the New Years Eve meal eh natutulog na ang mga tao. But we try to keep the Filipino tradition, we still make noise using the kaldero, kawali, basta anything to make noise ang ring in the New Year. My kids even joins in sa pag iingay.

Mga experiences lang yan ni Roel, it is for their own safety naman kaya ginagawa yun. Just like us here, lalo na pag nasa Baghdad ako, I have to go thru a gaunlet of checkpoints just to get from point A to point B. It is for our safety and the safety of everyone. I am used to it na kaya ok lang.

Ehris--It is good to read your post.

To ALL Batchmates--Kumusta sa inyong lahat. Ingat kayo, enjoy life to the fullest and God Bless.

PostSubject: DEAR KUYA LARRY   Tue Jul 08, 2008 10:48 pm

DEAR KUYA LARRY,
An Affair to Remember, Sleepless in Seattle, It could Happen to you, While you were Sleeping, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Cassablanca, Notting Hill at marami pang iba.

I just read your post and tuwang tuwang ako habang binabasa ko line by line, its very nostalgic and it clearly shows andyan na tayo talaga sa phase ng life natin na ang hanap ng bawat isa sa atin ay comfort, contentment, happiness and peace within. Maraming phases sa life natin na nagdaan and out of that i guess andito na tayo sa stage na "its time to slow down and smell the roses" after all life is too short not to enjoy everything about it right? Ako, ngayon i tend to look back doon sa lahat ng scope ng life ko whether it has been an exciting, a challenging or a demanding one, tapos i can't help but smile dahil somehow, every scope taught me a lot of things - how to loved and be loved, how to be happy, to be sad, to be excited and to look forward to something new that might happen. We've all been busy building our career, finding our perfect partner, having a family, looking after our kids, ourselves, our parents/siblings, and now wondering what is instore for me when i grow old? Pero ang hinding hindi ko makakalimutan is where i came from, dahil ito ang nag-mold sa akin for what I am today. Malaking factor ang faith ko to God, yung guidance NYA sa akin and sa lahat ng nangyayari sa akin. From all of the above, yan ang lesson na maipapasa ko sa mga anak ko na walang kasukat - sabi nga nila "priceless". Well in short - TUMATANDA NA TAYO TALAGA! Laughing

TO ALL MY DEAREST BATCHMATES - KUMUSTA KAYONG LAHAT AND "SLOW DOWN & SMELL THE ROSES".

PostSubject: Happy Moments...   Wed Jul 09, 2008 7:20 am

Dear Friends,
I'm about to pack up and go home but decided to visit Kapihan for a while. Sobrang natuwa ako sa mga messages dito...from the caring (as always) message of Letty, to the inspiring life learning principles of Ehris...to the pragmatic and surely brave perspective of Manny C...to Prislette's refreshing news and hellos...to Ka Freddie's heart rendering reality check...and of course, the very informative and affectionate words from kuya Larry...(may nakalimutan ba ako?)...

Basta...labs ko kayong lahat...take care and keep on smiling...

PostSubject: Lifetime memories!!!   Wed Jul 09, 2008 7:06 pm

A pleasant & wonderful day to all of you my dear batchmates!

Manny. Hope & pray that you're still safe & in good health, ganun din ang loved ones mo. Thanks too for your reply e-mail & yes, aware sina Roel & all the crew onboard their tanker na 'war zone' area ang Iraq, dahil iyon ang isa sa mga trips nila for unloading their cargoes. Siyempre, they have to comply sa pag-akyat ng mga coalition forces for security purposes at safety na rin nga ng lahat as what you've said. They left na Iraq for U.S.A. naman. Talagang mahigpit pa rin pala riyan ano, pati pala kayo ay tsini-check fully, in & out. Anyhow ingat kang palagi

It's been quite a while since we read your message again, super busy ba? Fyi, I've sent you a personal e-mail this morning, hope to receive a reply from you if you're free from your hectic schedules. Hay naku, nakakatuwang basahin your recent posted message, kasi some of them ay pare-pareho na nating ginagawa or gustong gawain. We really have to accept the fact that we're not getting younger & we have to take all things slowly but surely. Dati, we only think of our ourselves palagi, pero ngayon it's our family who is our priority. We have to be very careful na rin sa lahat ng bagay, most especially when it comes to our health hindi madalas mabisita ang doctors. And it seems, you're enjoying your life with your wife & kids, ganun din sa work mo. Warm regards to you & your whole family ha!

Ehris -> hi & musta na? Hope your kids are ok na? It's really true na whatever our past, good or bad memories, nakatatak na lahat iyon sa puso at isipan natin na masarap balik-balikan lalo na when we were kids, became mature, then we saw how our parents managed to brought us up to become what we are now. Kaya nga I'm always thankful to God for all the blessings that He has given & still giving to us, kaya iyan din ang gusto kong mapasapuso ng mga anak ko to have strong faith in God & their feet should always be on the ground

Thelma -> you're really sweet! Your recent message is not long & yet I'm directly hit of the sincere words that you've said, alam mo naman ako, I'm reading all the messages here word by word, walang pinalalampas. Like what I'm always reminding Larry, you should also find time to relax every after your working day. Stay healthy & happy, same as your husband & whole family too!

To everybody -> warm regards from me & Roel!

PostSubject: Hi to everyone! Glad to write to all of you....   Sun Jul 13, 2008 4:58 am

Hello batchmates!
Glad to read your posts…. Daming happenings from all of you.
I am here in the office kahit na Sunday, as usual, doing reports which are needed by tomorrow morning. I just want to take my mind away from worries, besides duling na rin ako… and the best thing to do this is to log in and write some notes for all of you. It soothes me while I read all your posts. I miss you all!
I’ve been busy so in the past I’ve just shared some good readings and poems that I’ve encountered. Now I have some time to key in the computer some thoughts. Aside from being busy here at work, may mga trainings din ako which occupy my time so much. There are times I was toying on the idea of retiring. Ano nga kaya? I learned that Audie Amante was already retired. Sayang lang nga, he was not able to see me before he leave the office. I wrote him a note to tell him na sayang at hindi kami nagkausap.
Tawang-tawa ako sa letter in Ka Freddie kay Kuya Larry. I guess there are really changes and this are big changes in us, since we are growing more “mature” in some ways. Lalo na iyong tungkol sa Jingle. Grabe! I want to congratulate you, Freddie for a good job. You made my day!
I also saw in multiply the site developed by Manny Cortez. Ang galing!!!! He was able to scan in its entirety our graduation “book”. Galing…. Napagod akong magtingin, kasi naka post doon all our pictures, all the graduating class of batch 77, pati teachers! Daming memories which came back to me. May posting din ng mga recent happenings. Doon ko napakinggan kumanta si Mathel. Hi, there my friend…. With matching dancing pa, galing! Ang saya naman ng outing nyo! So I want to give due recognition to Manny C. for taking time to update all the posted pictures and videos para nga naman ma-up-to-date tayong lahat sa mga happenings.
Hope to see more of those which you shared. Ako am still learning how to copy pictures to post in my multiply site. Hope I could really find time to improve on my site, like what you did in your site. Kainggit talaga.
Well, till our next encounter, please do take care!

PostSubject: Hello Nanette!   Sun Jul 13, 2008 7:56 pm

Good day to all of you my dear AHS batchmates!

Nanette -> yesssss.... I'm happy to read your message here once again after quite a while. It seems you're doing ok naman but you're very much busy sa work mo, imagine pati Sunday ay nagta-trabaho ko to finish the reports needed the following day! You're very much right at dito mo napiling magrelax kahit sandali sa forumotion link natin & hayan nga at nakapagpost ka pa for us to read it. Glad to know that you've seen na rin the pictures posted sa Multiply thru the courtesy of our 'mabait at masipag na batchmate' na si Manny Cortez kahit busy din siya sa work & family niya. Once nakapag-post na rito ng message si Manny Cortez & sana we can read a message from him again. For sure there will be another get-together of our batch, I'm always looking forward na minsan you will be available to join naman for us to see you personally, hug & talk to you too. Anyhow, for now at least may open communication na tayo to some of our batchmates, di ba? Maybe sa sobrang dami ng work, busy or tied-up schedules mo, makakaramdam ka talaga minsan ng tiredness, pressure & possible din na hindi ka maka-relax fully kaya you can't really avoid na sometimes thinking of retiring. Just hoping that you & your family are in good health & happy, dahil isa iyan sa mga pinaka-importanteng factor sa buhay nating lahat!

Larry -> busy as a bee pa rin ba?

To everyone -> hello & warm regards!

*VISION we perceive;
*GOALS we pursue;
*VALUES we hare; &

PostSubject: ANOTHER WEEK END TO REMEMBER....   Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:04 am

Hello to all my dear batchmates and friends in this woderfull Kapihan . Kumusta na kayong lahat..
Last weekend (Saturday), a group of "boys" of AHS '77 led by our Jun Papa went to my place in Antipolo and had a round of basketball and badminton games. I don't know if the group have noticed it but there were security guards roaming around the playing courts ready with their first aid kits just in case somebody would ran out with Oxygen . I was impressed, we survived that gruelling afternoon so we rewarded ourselves with a very cold beer and a matching" kaldretang kambing and pinaputok na Pla -pla " prepared by my very supportive wife.As usual, stories and discussions centered on our life as AHS students like who were the sexiest and lovely girls, crushes at mga pagsintang di maibulalas, may pinakama -sarap na baon , tambayang lugar, mga siga at maton, mga raket sa bakery at cooperative store ng mga teachers, mga sikat sa basketball, mga machong CO officers, long hair na mga Explorers, mga dumb and dumber na experiences, mga teacher na nakakatawa, mga pagsali sa game shows sa TV,kopyahan at kodigos, tip sa karera at jai alai at marami pang iba. We really had a great time, i oferred them to stay overnight but they have to leave kasi ang natatakang passport ng kanilang immigration officers ay they must be home by 12MN.

PostSubject: Tayo na Antipolo!   Mon Jul 14, 2008 3:27 am

Gandang Hapon mga batchmates,

Maraming Salamat pareng Freddie for a very warm reception last saturday. Ganda ng climate sa antipolo we played badminton kami ni Ding Ocampo (he is from PLDT) and then basketball 3 on 3 lang di na po kaya ang whole court. Andun pa rin ang skills ni ka freddie imagine at the age of 48 left and right hand magshoot. So with ric polo and ric mendoza perimeter shooting ang reveletion si Ding parang si Haba haba abarrientos ang speed. ang papa dito hindi shooter parang big boy reynoso rebounds and guarding only. The rest sila ang mga cook (kinilaw at pinapaitan). The guest house is really for us akala kasi ni freddie magovernight kami kaya lang may curfew sa bahay. Sunday kasi is for family..> Manny C next time you should join us missed ka ng mga boys.
Regards to verybody Larry (i've heard may dengue is some barangays in Baguio ingat lang po) Jun & prisellete, Thelma, Ehris , Annabelle, Ompong, Rudyvictor, Nette.

PostSubject: Isang pagbati sa lahat ...   Mon Jul 14, 2008 9:55 pm

At ngayo'y naririto. Nag-iisa.
