At last! I was able to get in this link! It was such a challenge for me to get in. Thanks both to Freddie & Larry for their help. Next time, I have to remember how to get in here. Where is everybody?

I was just talking to Dodie Babao-Calaguas last night. I also invited her to join this link. She did mentioned also that she has gotten the invite, but no time yet to get in. She also mentioned to me what she has noticed & read in Kamustahan, that is why she said she does not really want to post any messages over there. she will be visiting her son who is stationed in Germany in Dec. & then she said she will drop by San Francisco after Christmas to visit us. Natatawa ako sa post mo when you said I made it a little bit difficult, pwede din ano so that when you finally get in, you really treasure it, good thought hahaha!!! Parang treasure hunting lol !!! O pano yan Bossing Freddie since medyo busy si Leticia sa (ika-ilang) honeymoon nila na kaya yan ano? .... sana ikaw uli dito mag-welcome habang busy pa lahat at mukhang mawawala uli ako next few days. Kasi mag-switch na kami sa Globe broadband, and I requested for disconnection na ng Piltel, I guess anytime now i-cut na nila ang phone ko dito where I use my snail-type dial-up internet connection, salamat naman, installed na ang globe line, config na lang ng DSL then presto mas magiging maganda ang connect ko and attack here hehe!!!! Sana hanggang bukas meron pang landline so I may still post mgs, kung wala na ko that means within few days install na nila ang Globe, they're having a hard time daw kasi first time at nagkabuhol-buhol ang mga linya, kakaloko dito sa Pinas ano, sinasabi yung ganun hahahaha!!!!

Jaime and batchmates, here's my kwento about our DARK ROOM MAZE medyo ginaya ko ng konti sa Merika, Nov. 1 affair namin, we don't have any Halloween here in our church yun lang ang nagamit ni Letz but we'd rather call it Dark Room Maze kasi puzzle siya at i-challenge ang recall and smartness ng isang tao. Totally dark ang room na papasukin, as in wala ni anong maliit na light!!!! Papasukin mo ay isang actual maze where you will find your way out to the finish line (nasa about 60 - 80 meters ang ikot mo sa loob). They will have to listen and put in their minds every word that they're gonna hear which forms a Bible Verse so they got to guess what particular familiar verse in the Bible is that! Then they will also identify the different animals and fowls and insects they heard ang pinakamadaming ma-identify at tumpak ang verse wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes!!! We called the game Isa-Dalawa-Tatlo kasi Isa - Bawal Magsalita, Dalawa - Bawal Sumigaw kahit nakakagulat, Tatlo - Manalangin lang!!!! Disqualified in case magsalita at sumigaw!!!
There was one contestant who passed gas yaiks ang bantot ngieeek excuse for the word hahahah, kainis, because of the smell I forgot to say the word fo rthat particular spot hahahaha!!! There was one visitor na ang tapang ng power sa armpit when I tried to grab him kasi tinatakot namin para sumigaw kumapit sa kamay ko ang powerz, waaaah!!! Ang daming powers na naamoy ko hahahaha!!!! Merong batang nakipagtaguan and it took like half an hour eh dapat 15 minuntes lang ang pinakamatagal. At may batang kumapa sa loob ng toilet bowl excuse me sa kumakain o umiinom ng kape hahaha!!! Kasi ang first spot eh restroom eh, pumasok ng derecho! Buti na lang mallinis ang bowl hehe!!! At may isang ako ang nagulat kasi he's not making any noise imagine nagpaa, kaya nahirapan kami kung nasan na siya, nagbubulungan kami nasaan na yun, yun pala sa bilis at galing niya nasa banda finish line na hahaha, lugi siya hindi niya narinig ang words namin kasi we only like utter the word if the player is approaching us, no sweat kami tuloy, namaos kami sa lahat ng noises na ginawa namin!!!
Walang masyadong nakakatawang nangyari! But all of us had a good time, 3 nights namin ginawa kasi ang dami nong first night, 22 ang natapos, at mas dumami pa the next 3 days, napaos ako. SAYANG ANG DAYA NILA LETICIA ROEL AND 2 KIDS HINDI NAG-TRY!!!!

Good morning to all of you out there,

Gosh, again, I find it difficult to get in. It took me a long time yesterday to get in. Today, I forgot HOW to get in!! You are right, Freddie, it seems that Larry made it difficult to get in, so as not to get "infiltrated" by unwanted guests. ( I guess)

I was on the phone talking w/ Jaime Dabu this morning, of course while I was at work & he was also at work. We even had a three-way conversation w/ Trifee Miaco. This was the first time I talked to them, it was such fun to be able to "connect live" w/ friends. Jaime also told me that he had tried to get in but couldn't. I just hope that will be the start of a good relationship among all of us here in our new link. Well, what will we call our new link?

Regarding my health, well, I am getting a bit better. I have been on light duty since August. I am not doing any patient care at the moment, so as to give time for my body to heal as I have injured myself at work last week of July. taking care of a very heavy woman in labor. Then after that, it triggered all my "old" health problems. I am currently under Workman's Comp. On Nov 12, I have an appointment w/ a specialist. He will review my MRI results & look at the films & discuss paln of care. I think I am ready to go back to full nursing duty, but I hope w/ some limitations as to prevent any further re-injury. September was not a good month for me, I was physically incapacitated & emotionally drained. October was recuperating month, my symptoms of arm & hands numbness, tingling, neck & shoulder pain has subsided. My ptosis on my right eye has subsided & my vision on that eye & symptoms got better. I was told that I had so much swelling & inflammation in between the vertebrae that it has caused pressure on the nerves supplying those areas. Now November, I do wish that we will ALL be happy, contented, be healthy, close to our families & friends, be able to communicate better w/ others, LOVE one another & have RESPECT for one another.

First of all let us all greet you a good afternoon -> Larry, Freddie, Rudy I., Elie & Prislette! Honestly, me & Roel are happy to be with you guys once again! Cheers to all of a "fresh & newly-brewed hot coffee"!

Musta na ulit kayong lahat? Hope you are all in the best of health, as well as your respective families, like us. Since my husband arrived from the ship recently, we went up to Baguio, enjoyed our stay there, talagang "pasyal to the max". We were in Baguio from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3. We met Larry there nung Nov. 1 & even spent 1 night in his house. We're really very thankful for his warm & sincere welcome to us (me, my husband & our 2 kids), kahit na busy pa siya that time because of his Halloween Maze. Thanks too Larry for the sumptuous dinner, especially with the No. 1 na ulam sa Baguio na "pinikpikan" (tama ba Larry kami, pls. correct us ha pag-mali), fresh vegetable salad & fried fish. Then nung breakfast naman, grabe ang daming nakahaing pagkain like, tuyo, tinapa, fried egg, cheesedog, broccoli with some mixed vegetables sauted in butter (cooked by Larry), ang saraaappp....!!! Then after breakfast, sinamahan pa kami ni Larry sa palengke para sa bibilihin naming mga pasalubog sa relatives, pati na ang ukay-ukay ay inikot din kami ni Larry. Dami rin naming napasyalan like: PMA, Camp John Hay (especially their Aviary), Grotto, Burnham Park (where we went on boating & our kids went on biking naman), Wright Park where our kids had their horse-backriding, the Mansion, Mines View, Baguio Cathedral (we attended a complete 1-hour mass), Crystal Cave & SM Baguio.

Very tight ang pamamasyal kaya talagang very tiring & no time for honeymoon (obvious ba Freddie & Larry... kayong dalawa ha, akala nyo ba we went to Baguio for a honeymoon, hindi nga naisingit eh, ha, ha, ha... joke!)

Larry -> again, our heartful thanks for your sincere & warm welcome & hospitality when we were in Baguio. Very happy si Roel, my kids & me to be with you kahit one night lang at konting oras. We really appreciate your kindness & being a true friend & person in general. Hope you will remain the same, for life...... ha!

Freddie -> bakasyon grande ka rin pala sa Pangasinan with your family. Actually di ba naitext ka pa namin when we met Carol Borbajo nung magpunta kami sa parents house ko sa Cainta nung Oct. 27 (that was Saturday) & you've text back na you just arrived lang nga sa Pangasinan. Talagang masarap kumain ng inihaw na isda at fresh vegetables kapag nagbabakasyon. Nice to read your messages here. Pre, wait nyo lang & soon "we will be having our cup of coffee"! Globe Broadband na ko, after my worst experience with Smartbro, humingi sakin ng tawad ang Arquillo Law Office sa mga pananakot na ginawa nila sakin 'yan ang law firm ng Smartbro at inalog ko ang Customer Care Management nila dahil sa muntik ko silang idemanda !!! Now forget about it, what's good is ang Bakakeng (kahit mabantot ang pangalan ng place namin) ang inuna ng Globe na lagyan ng broadband nila and presto it took like 3 months in the making, and pfffft, I got Globe broadband , kala ko masasayang ang binili kong router now we can use all our desktops and notebooks, sarap IT BRIGHTENS MY DAY !!!! Okay timpla lang ako ng Benguet Best brewed coffee ito yung sinadya ko pa para lang ma-taste nila Letz and Roel ang best brewed kape na pinagmamalake ng mga Igoyz here (igorotz) , so wait, timpla muna ko ng Benguet Best Brewed coffee !!!

I've learned this the hard way several years ago...when the exuberance of youth gave me the false understanding that we can conquer the world in exchange for our absence while our children are growing up. As we mellow down, priorities set in and we learn to discern what are those that are within our circle of control versus those that are just within our circles of influence. Spirituality, Health and Family should always be at the forefront. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."
The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.
One day when we look back, we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.
Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition . Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence.
So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile, Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balanced lifestyle and enjoy Life!

(5) I miss my kitchen there, my big microwave, 6-burner-oven, dish washing machine, two pantries (lalagyan ng mga grocery items, ito pinaka-miss ko hehe), at malapit lang doon ang kinaiinisan kong washing machine na may whirlpool (planchado na ang damit pag-lumabas kaya wala kang makikitang chothes line or sampayan sa USA eh).... Miss ko din mga the best amenities ng town house doon pati jaccuzzi, tennis court, etc, etc. haaaay, ngayon mga tae ng kabayo ang madami hahaha, palagi akong nakakatapak, ngieeeek hahahah!!!

My Family Now (some info, profiles or insights): I'm happily & peacefully married to my classmate/our batchmate Roel R. Pelagio. We have 2 cute daughters, aged 11 & 13 years old respectively. We're a proud parents because our kids are consistent academic awardees from pre-school upto present. My husband Roel is presently on board the ship.
