It's 9:50pm here in Fairfax, Virginia. I just finished cooking sinangag 'fried rice with some egg and chopped hotdog' I also cooked my favorite fried chicked gizzard. Set na ako for baon tomorrow. May I save na naman ng $10 ( if I would buy food from nearby small store at the office ). Imagine ... $10 x 5 ( in one week ) .... na savings dahil may I cook. Enjoy pa ako sa food.

It was nice talking to you my long lost friend Manny Cortez! You are right! You made me remember na naman our beginnings as working students after high school. I was janitor/messenger then receiving Three Pesos a day (when the minimum wage was already Eight Pesos a day ... That is why when I make hugas the plato here ... Manny C. -> hi to you! Fyi, katatapos nyo lang daw mag-chat ni Trifee yesterday nung mag-online ako kaya kami naman ni Trifee ang nag-chat. Pare-pareho pala tayong nakatapos as working student, my 1st job ay clerk-typist in a consulting firm in Makati, kailangan nasa office ako before 8 a.m. para at exactly 5 p.m. ay makalabas ako at diretso sa PUP Sta. Mesa everyday. Of course hindi madali ang maging working student, but it's a big challenge dahil maganda naman ang kinahinatnan & besides yung tuition fees ko noon ay ako na ang bahala at makakabawas na sa iintindihin ng parents ko at maibibigay pa nila sa mas nakababata ko pang mga kapatid. Kaya nga, our kids are lucky dahil lahat ng best ay pwede na nating ibigay sa kanila di ba?

Freddie Nicdao – Gosh pare diko alam nagwork ka pala sa Indonesia. I was there Sa National Panasonic Batam Indonesia for 6 years from 1996- 2002 and in-between I was assigned to work ss Singapore komo 45 min travel by ferry Boat lang.

Pare, you know me better dahil madalas ako sa bahay ninyo nagpapaturo ng math palagi, a struggling student sa UE college
of engineering. Pakitaan nga tayo ng math subject, sus left behind ang UE sa Mapua lalo na sa books. Pareho kami nina Ariel

First & foremost, to our Admin Mr. Larry: Naku ha, talagang na touch ako sa ginawa mong poem w/ my name. Imagine madaling araw mo pa ginawa iyon. Imbis na natutulog ka na, ay you made a poem for my B-day. I will keep a copy & treasure it. At iyong 1960 year na B-day ko, wow! Saan mo na research iyon? Very interesting!! Talagang I am out of words how to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you for remembering my B-day. And, yes, I am proud to say & ADMIT that I am 48 years old, & still looking good, di ba? At saka yung strawberry cake, ang sarap! In fact we had Strawberry-Banana cake on the surprise B-day celebration that my kumare gave for me last Sunday afternoon. Kaya lang, ang akala nila, 50 na ako, kaya 5 candles ang nilagay sa cake, each candle signifies 10 years daw, ha! ha! Medyo pinatanda nila ako 2 more years. Hindi pa, sa 2010 pa iyon, sa ating batch all together Birthday celebration di ba? Letty: Naku, when I got home last night, I saw that our answering machine was blinking. May message ka pala. Thank you very for remembering me on my special day. Sayang lang at wala na kami sa bahay. I was out of the house the whole day yesterday, maaga pa. Siyempre, I treated myself for a beauty pampering, habang nasa trabaho si Jun. After his work, we pick-up the kids & we had dinner in a Japanese Restaurant. Of course I also had a dozen white roses from my hubby & gifts from the kids. Tapos niyayaya na niya ako na pumunta na sa Best Buy at pinapipili na ako ng laptop computer ko. Pero, sabi ko, next time na lang, dahil hindi naman ako marunong pumili at hindi ko alam ang mga features na dapat kong hanapin. Di ko ba nasabi sa iyo at nag-drop na ako sa computer classes ko? Ang dami ko na kasing absent kasi parati kong nalilimutan na may clase pala ako.

Ehris: My friend dearie, sayang at naputol ng dalawang beses ang telepono. Hindi tuloy tayo nakapag chikahan ng matagal. Saka na lang tayo bumawi ng matagal na kuwentuhan. Hindi mo pa rin naibibigay ang phone number mo sa akin. Wala akong contact number mo at address mo. I am glad at well adjusted ka na sa bago mong trabaho. Ako, minsan, umaasam na sana may alam akong ibang trabaho, pagod na rin kasi sa pagiging nurse. Minsan nag de daydream ako na sana naging isang top executive ako na parating naka business suit at wearing nylons & heels, kung baga, naka bihis araw- araw. Ano kaya? Babagay kaya?

Freddie: Also thank you for greeting me. So how does it feel to be back home & w/ your family again? Mahirap din ang malayo sa pamilya. Kita mo, si Trifee naman ang malayo sa pamilya niya ngayon. But we got to do what is best for everyone, isn't it? Sige, pagdating namin diyan, makikipaglaro ng basketball sa inyo si Jun. Never ko siyang nakitang mag basketball. What I know is he is a good swimmer. I remembered when he saved me & my 2 year old daughter then from drowning in the lake while we were fishing. On another occasion, he also saved my teenage nephew then from drowning in Yosemite Nat'l. Park . He is a good swimmer but he was not sucessful on teaching me how to swim, I just never learned. But all the kids knows how to swim, thanks to him.

Jun P: Also thank you for greeting me. Kamusta din daw sa inyong mga taga AAQ Elem. Yes, nasa Rondalla daw siya at choir noong nasa Elem. May nakita nga akong old pictures niya na parang naka Japanese costume na performance sa school. I don't know kung kasama ka doon, but do you remember that? Basta, sasali daw siya sa lahat ng sports diyan pagdating namin. Baka daw hingalin kayo at sumuko sa kanya? ( Or sino kaya ang unang aatakihin ng rayuma o asthma?) Reserve your vacation days now so that you will have enough vacation time in 2010. I heard that a lot of ka- batchmates are already talking about it, even in QT.

Manny C.: Thank you din at naalala mo ako. By the way, my mom is doing well in the Nursing Home. At least I am now at peace that she is being well taken cared of & I will not worry that she will be out in the streets & get lost. I remembered the last time you suggested what do I look for in a computer, kayo ni Jovell yata ang nag suggest ng kung ano-ano, na hindi ko din alam. One of these days, Jun will get my laptop computer as my B-day gift daw. Just keep up the good work of putting pictures in the net for all of us here to see.

Jaime Dungca: Welcome to the Forum!! I am glad that you found us here. So, you are also far away from your family. What a sacrifice, huh? You said that they are in Sta Rosa, Laguna? When we were in the Phils. last year, & we went to visit my cousin who lives in Laguna Bel-air in Sta Rosa, are you by any chance near their place? Ang ganda ng lugar nila at presko ang simoy ng hangin at malapit pa sa Tagaytay. Ang dami ring mga new developments doon , lalo na papuntang Tagaytay. Si Jun nga noon, gustong tumingin ng bahay doon. (Baka daw doon siya mag- retire ) Thank you din sa B-day greetings ha? Sana nga lalo tayong dumami dito, masaya kapag nagkakabalitaan tayo kahit nasa kung saang sulok tayo ng mundo.

Hello my dear friends and batchmates

Wow !Fernando "Ronnie" Labao is in the house. Sa totoo lang pare i thought your nick name is Randy as in Randy Santiago yon pala si Fernando "Randy "Nunez pala ang may nickname noon but anyway for those of you who are not familiar with the guy (esp. Prislette), let me introduce him to you .
- Ronnie started in AHS as 1-2 and graduated as 1V -1. He is one of the smallest guy in the class but turned out to be taller than us now
and the reason for being so is something i can not divulge. Had I known that principle, i should have been a succesful professional bas-
ket ball player like Guidaben and Fernandez

- He has a photograpic memory and that make Social Studies and World History his favorite subjects. He should have been the best and
almost got a medal but he earned the ire of MR. TARO ... as Jaime Dungca attested in his posting yesterday.

- He was the part of the group that we considered highly intellectuals. He was a students that take his studies seriously and even with out exams he's up each night "Burning The Midnight Oil" (sumobra lang) ikaw talaga Igme pinaalala mo pa ..

- He has a beautiful wife that our IV -1 adviser Mrs. Sarmiento (Trigonometry Teacher) can not seem to allign on how Ronnie ended up with his wife inspite of using all the trigonometric functions and formulas in her arsenal of knowledge and even with the help of Mrs. Lansang

- He and Ayee Marbella were both deep admirers of a beautiful girl in 3rd year which they both named BEAUTY (and called themselves the BEAST). Beauty's surname i think is PACUBAS( a classmate of Mareng Letty's sister and a Model GS member) and the sad part was both of them never had a chance of personaly meeting the girl... What a classic example of Ligaw Tingin

- His into Photograpy business now that instead of spending a lot of money with Vicky Bello, Dr. Calayan and Svensons for us to look good, he advises us to avail of his photo services and will make sure that sagging eye bags, receeding hairlines, bulging bellys, wrinkles and other sign of old age will not appear in the photos he will take . Sabihin lang daw nating kung gusto natin maging kamukha si Brad Pitt at Angelina Jolie walang problema. Mura na wala pang Aray...
