Hello Mr. Musikero (Rudy I), pareho lang ang standing natin, parang mahirap pumasok sa mga entries, parang mahirap mag-relate, although involved ka diyan kahit papano... talagang ganon lang siguro sa simula.Maalala mo rin lahat at pag nag click sa memory lane mo ito, pasok ka lang. Ok lang naman, walang masama na magpaalala ng nakaraan. Good or bad, pero mas maganda kung yoong mag funny things na lang at baka maging sensitive matter, mahirap ng makatapak ng paa ng iba di ba my friend. Kita mo, nakapasok na rin ako sa wakas.

Well about the hoops and loops tungkol sa mga boys na niloko namin ni "Thiacyn" (Cynthia), mag taga FEU sila, naku, hahahabol-habol kay Cynthia yon, pumupunta pa sila sa Buendia sa may bahay namin naka bike ang mga kumag, pinatataguan ko dahil sa kahihiyan ko dahil akala nga taga Sta Isabel tayo... puwes binoko tayo ng taga Ma-Sci ( Manila Science) of course , galit sila sa ating taga AHS. Di naman nadal ang mga boys na yon kahit busted kay Cynthia. Say mo yoong gwuapo sa akin nagpapa-charming, pero di ko siya type dahil sobrang gwapo, I know he will just break nmy heart so "ekis" ( Mrs. Martinez lingo) siya sa akin . Marami pa tayong mga ibang chapter during our D' Panots days pero baka ma-bore na ang bago nating mga kabarkada ("Kapihan peops"), dahil ito na ang bagong circle of friends natin. Isa pa, sorry guys but I really have to mention this about G. Scout, naku maraming episodes diyan, iyakan, tawanan, pag-rig ng mga awards, favoritism etc.... sama na mga crush natin na mga Explorers ano... saan na ba sila? Yan ang mga chick boys noon, hanggang ngayon siguro ano? Anyway ... life goes on... it turned out to be ok I guess mga inosente pa tayo noon eh.

Pye, funny ka talaga, kwentuhan mo naman kami next time. Ako di ko makalimutan yoong escapades natin sa Zambales every summer, hanggang ngayon, naaalala ko yan. Nalibot natin ang Olongapo hanggang Sta Cruz... to Dasol, Pangasinan... at sa flying carpet tayo natutulog sa mansion ng sis mo, remember? Thank you all for the memories... sayang at naputol dahil nagkahiwahiwalay tayo at reality is mahirap ng ibalik ang 30 years, kahit ano pang gawain, pero may pag-asa pa dito sa new website na ito, tayong lahat na members ( subscribers ba? ) ang bagong magkakabarkada. And to all naman na di ko pa na-greet Jaime Dabu and Ellie, I miss your notes too. Ms. Ellie, iba na talaga ang mga execs ano, parang si Matel... buti pa kayo pa-business-business trips na lang ano. Jaime, since you have so much experience and a great passion for traveling, share ka naman ng mga favorite places mo na "must see." If you have time ha please? Alam mo, travel bug din ako noong araw, pero dahil sa may bulilit kami ngayon, di kami maka-travel lately dahil sa finances namin. Hi Larry and everyone,

Larry, please feel free to post this if you wish, I have no problem at all. Sa edad nating ito, I'm not sentitive anymore, I'm tough skin now and talagang parang balat kalabaw na ako. AlsoI will send my pix and you have my permission to put it in our website.

Nabasa ko pala yoong mga posting kagabi, and I think it was mentioned in the website ( esp. Prislette's posting) of having a plan of celebrating a birthday bash for the big "5" "0" celebrants. Naku sounds exciting, sali ako diyan kahit na one year short, going 50 na rin naman ako. Please ask the group for their suggestions where will be the venue. Although 2010 pa, magandang mag-plan as early as this time.

Hanap tayo ng magandang theme, basta linked sa "going 50" I'm sure this will be a blast! Para kahit yoong mga 49 or 51 na classmates, pwede sanang mag-join. Kasi kung sa mga 50 lang ang mga celebrants, baka ma-out of place naman yoong iba na di pa 50 ano? Mag- door prizes tayo and some fun.

Larry, sana sa Baguio ang venue. Miss ko talaga diyan, lalo na sa Camp John Hay and Teacher's Camp. The place really gives me good memories. Alam mo ba na nagpunta pa kami noong hi-school days with Elmer, Beebot and some upper year students sa isang cave, ( Gold Mine ba yon or Crystal cave) maybe you can remember the place. Burnham Park, Session Road, Hyatt Terraces noon pa yon I know walal na ito dahil sa earthquake) and I really love to see Baguio again. Last time kung pumunta diyan ay noong 89 pa yata. Di ako nakapunta noong visit ko sa PI noong 2001 and 2006, sayang, di ko kasi alam na nandiyan ka eh. Kung alam ko lang, pinuntahan sana kita. Magkano kaya ang rooms sa Baguio Manor (?) not sure of the name, but my friend got married there and sa John Hay yata ito. Membership lang ba or open to the public?

Another place that I like to visit again is Tagaytay Highlands. Masarap ang food at ang view. Exciting yoong tram-like furnicular type, parang punta ka sa Isle of Capri. Breathtaking views talaga and ang golf course, beeeutipullll talaga! Teka, check muna natin ang prices, ( I'm just dreaming, wala naman masamang mangarap) at talagang memebership lang yata dito. So baka may ka-batchmates tayo na may connection or memebership, baka pwede tayo doon.

I'm still here in the office, as usual still "working" here at our forum.
I miss you all!!! Walang tampuhan sa mga hindi ma-mention ha. Sa dami ng binasa ko (biro nyo I scanned through 1 to 16 paaaaages ), I could only retain some of the things in my memory. Growing in wisdom na talaga.
Hi, Prislette- wow naman ang planning ng birthday celeb, ako sama na rin though hindi pa ko "golden" in age, ha, ha, ha!
Hi Pyegabelle!- iyong cake na kinakain natin sa resto is CUSTARD cake, favorite natin iyon! Masarap naman kasi, the best! And I remembrer kaya tayo madalas dun kasi pogi iyong anak ng may-ari ng resto na minsan nating nakita while hanging-out there!

TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR THOSE 45 YEARS OLD AND OVER

1. Focus on enjoying people, not on indulging in or accumulating material things.

2. Plan to spend whatever you have saved.
You deserve to enjoy it and the few healthy years you have left.
Travel if you can afford it.
Don't leave anything for your children or loved ones to quarrel about.
By leaving anything, you may even cause more trouble when you are gone.

3. Live in the here and now, not in then, yesterdays and tomorrows.
It is only today that you can handle.
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow may not even happen.

4. Enjoy your grandchildren (if you are blessed with any) but don't be their full time baby sitter.
You have no moral obligation to take care of them.
Don't have any guilt about refusing to baby-sit anyone's kids, including your own grandkids.
Your parental obligation is to your children.
After you have raised them into responsible adults, your duties of child-rearing and babysitting

Larry: By this time na mabasa mo ito, Belated Happy Birthday na! Kailan ba talaga ang B-day mo? So sorry, hindi ko na nabalikan ang GTKY portion mo,. cannot even remember what page na kasi iyon. Great at nandiyan na pala si misis mo, tamang-tama at mag kakasama kayo sa holidays. Since binabati ka ng iba, eto ako, huli man daw at magaling, naihahabol din.

Ehlee: Birthday mo rin ba? happy B-day din. Ang akala ko kasi ay ang daughter mo ang may B-day, 22 yrs. old & may pa-house blessing ka di ba? How was it? Kahapon ba iyon? Send pictures naman, ok?

Dodie & Nanette: Mabuti naman at kahit medyo naliligaw kayo ay nakaka pag post na kayo. Di ba, sabi ko sa inyo, nakaka-addict ito? I am always looking forward to read & post messages here, that is, if I my boys can allow me to interrupt them in the computer. Sanayan lang iyan, next time, madali na lang ang mag post dito.

Letty & Roel: Magaganda ang mga forwarded e-mails na pinadadala ninyo sa akin. Kamusta na ang buong family? Kamusta na nga pala kayong lahat? Napapanood ko sa TFC na sunod-sunod ang bagyo sa Metro Manila at provinces, it hurts me to see , especially those in the provinces that was affected w/ the floods & avalanche. Kasi naman, " kinakalbo" masyado ang mga bundok by the illegal loggers, now, look at the consequences. Kawawa ang mga taong bayan na wala namang kinalaman sa mga katiwalian ng gobyerno.

Trifee: Nabasa ko ang susunod na novela mo. Marami ka palang pinag daanang hirap sa buhay. I just do hope that your sons will treasure what you have gone through in life, just to give them a better chance in living comfortably. I always tell my own kids too, what we did not have when we are growing up, that they are very lucky that I want to give them everything, much , much better than what I had , & that they are very "lucky" that they don't have to " struggle" in life like the others. That is why my kids are very appreciative of " mom & dad".

Freddie: Don't work too hard, take it easy. Hay naku, last night Jun was trying to call your cellphone, so morning time diyan. Pero nagri- ring lang daw. Hindi mo ba naririnig? O naka vibrate ang cell mo? Ibigay mo na nga lang ang landline phone mo, I know your work phone, but how about your home phone? I assume that you are "off" on weekends? Can he call you then on weekends? Ewan ko ba, ayaw pa rin niyang mag post dito, hindi rin kasi siya marunong sa computer, mas gusto na lang na mag telepono.

Mathel: Na inspire ako sa post mong D'Panots, kaya naalala ko tuloy ang ibang " happenings" natin. Sayang at hindi pa natin nahahanap yung iba, para makumpleto na. I will call you later. Kaka uwi lang namingmag-iina galing sa mall, eto nga, hindi pa ako nakakapag-bihis, silip muna ako agad dito sa Forum. We bought some X-mas decor, kasi we will start decorating the house, medyo nga huli na, hopefully bukas makabili na si Jun ng Christmas Tree. Wow... I can smell the tree kahit wala pa nga, ang bango ng "pine smell" sa bahay, kaya every year, fresh tree ang binibili namin.

Pye: Ikaw naman ang dapat mag-post ng HS days natin. Wala akong maalala na invovled kayo ni Mhed, kasi mga " good girls" kasi kayo. Alam ko marami kayong happening ni Dodie, even after HS. di ba?

Susan: Yes, ang lamig lamig na dito, kahit nga nasa bahay na ako, naka socks at scarf pa rin. At sweatpants at tops ang suot ko. Kahit naka -on na ang heater, malamig pa rin. It has been 20-30 degress fahrenheit dito sa gabi. Pero at least, walang snow na kagaya sa inyo. Siguro kung ako ang nakatira sa may snow, parati akong absent sa trabaho, mahirap ang mag-drive sa snow, o mag shovel pa ng driveway para makalabas sa garahe. at tapos every winter, you have to change your tires sa " snow tires" di ba? very prone sa accidents kung wala ka noong tires na iyon.

To Annabelle Tupaz, Jaime, Audie- hi! mabuti at naliogaw ka rin dito., Jun P., Sam C.- ang ganda ng posting mo? original mo ba iyon? As what I've mentioned here, Noreena already started viewing this link & sana nga yung nabanggit mo about them ay ok lang sa kanila, kasi nga it's a common knowledge naman nung high school tayo. Ikaw talaga ha, alam na alam mong wala kaming posting ng 1 day at naging 2 days pa nga kasi nung Nov. 30, pupunta sana kami ng buong family namin sa Binangonan to visit my sister na nagcelerbate ng birthday kaso, on our way there, sa C-5 Road pa lang kami ay medyo nagka-problema ang car namin, actually dapat ay kina Freddie kami magla-lunch that day, kaso hindi natuloy kaya sa Cainta na kami tumuloy sa parents' house ko. Gabi na nung maayos ang car namin & siyempre we stayed there overnight na, late na rin kami nakauwi ng Cavite kaya hindi na rin kami nakapag-post pa (2 days bale kaya nga bawi kami ngayon)

Freddie -> me, Roel & my 2 kids were really very happy when we visited you in your camp house in Antipolo. Along the way, we enjoyed our trip from Cainta, para nga raw Baguio sabi ng 2 kids namin, kasi medyo may nadaanan kaming parang zigzag road & the views were really nice, may mga bundok, tall trees & marami pang greeneries na pleasing & relaxing sa eyes. Masaya kaming mag-asawa na makita your wife for the 2nd time around. We really liked & enjoyed eating the kakanin na mineryenda natin sa kubo mo. Presko sa lugar mo at salamat sa pagpasyal mo sa paligid ng plant compound ng company ninyo. Maganda ang panahon yesterday, masarap ang hangin sa katawan. Kahit we said our pasasalamat yesterday, again thank you very much for your invitation, warm welcome & accommodation to us, salamat din pala sa ibinigay mo sa amin ni Roel at may pabaon pa. We really had a great & relaxing time with you & your wife, maraming salamat ulit sa inyo!

Good evening! Fyi, me & my husband received a sad news tonight by text when we arrived home from the church. It's really sad to know that Thelma's dad passed away this morning (Sunday, Dec. 2). As per Thelma's replied text to me, her dad is now lying at Loyola Memorial in Guadalupe, Makati City (Presidential Suite). He will be cremated at 9 a.m. (Friday, Dec. 7 at Loyola).

Thelma -> again, me & my whole family are extending our heartfelt condolences to you & your whole family. We're praying that your dad is now resting peacefully with God Almighty. We know that it's very painful to lose a loved one, especially a parent. Anyhow we're hoping that you're feeling better deep inside you & coping well enough for your husband, kids, immediate & extended members of your family, relatives & friends, too! As what I've told you already, as a friend -> my heart is with you. You've been a very good & supportive daughter to your dad. Since it is God who gave our lives on earth, He is also the one who will take it back in His own chosen time. Our prayers are with with you too! Take care of yourself especially your health!

i know how it feels being condoled, especially if our loved ones had passed away, though we understand that death is part of our earth's life... there is another life that is in heaven, and it is eternal... no worries, no cries, everything of praises to the Lord, and the Father in Heaven... again, my condolences....

Today, I also tried again to call, but I guess you are all in the funeral home.

hi there fellow starbatchers and kapihan afficionado's (lest i forget some names .... )

what a week !!!!!!!!! here in manila grabe..... i was in Clark Pampanga for a series of lectures when out of nowhere there was this sudden trembling of the grounds as in the ground is shaking, it was for me the longest 1 minute of my life EARTHQUAKE intensity 6 epicenter in Pangasinan and Baguio... larry i hope everything's alright there. i saw the husge chandelier in the middle of the ballroom swaying ala pendulum movement grabe.... so scared, but i got the biggest scare of my life when in found out that my youngest daughter is in our condo 28th floor and alone..., every tuesdays ksi she has along vacant period normally her friends/classmates would join her there until 2 pm but on that day the driver drove me to clark and cant be back until after 12 am so it was her dad who picked her up so ang storya the classmates wud not want to join nahihiya daw sa daddy nya. ergo she was alone i phoned her and medyo hysteruiacl na ako but thank god she was alright she was such a brave girl, so proud of her, i frantically called her dad to pick her up na my god i'm so helpless talaga hirap talaga maging working mom, u run ur household thru fone thanks to the technology anyway at least evrything is ok now no major destructions.

next... thursday nmn again oout of nowhere my fellow consultant motioned time out he got a txt mssg from his wife that tehre is raw an on going coup in makati ano nba yan my husband is working in makati and about 100 meters away from the venue the legendary Peninsula Manila hotel, again awa ng diyops my husband is in another part of manila attending a meeting whew!!!! my heart stopped momentarily.... but he's ok na but im sutre guy esp freddie knw what was going on i hope ur ok too my friend remember d ko pa nasisingil ang kape ko hehehhe

anyways enough of this just a few corrections it was not my bday it was my daughter's 22nd bday but just to tell everyone it was really ablast last friday Nov. 30 batchh 77 serenaded my family and friends we had agreat time singing dancing and laughing ourb hearts out. i was even telling them na feeling ki may JS prom tayo or HY and Yteens party ang mga lola..... and lolo's too im really so happy for all those who came you just dont realize how musch joy you brought to me and my family thanks so much

again... sama ako sa idea ni prislette /dodie for a joint golden bday celebration... be it in Baguio we have a rest house there and if in Tagaytay were a member of Tagaytay highlands, i am also volunteering my small place in Calamba Laguna we have a club house there with 2 swimming pools o d ba food and entertainment na lng ang kulang. I am also volunteering my services as event organizer for these grandiose event, that's my other line of work you know he hehe just blet me know, ill try to posy pics nxt time got to ho for a carolinmg 2nite wid my chorale here in d ofc im the self appointe busness manager here and singer din...

Hello everyone!

Fyi, last night (Mon., Dec. 3), we (Roel & Letty) went to the wake of Thelma's dad. Thelma is feeling better but of course, she's grieving together with her loved ones & the whole family members. Thelma said, 'THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR KIND WORDS & SYMPATHY THAT YOU'VE EXTENDED TO HER', which she received by text & thru our posted messages here, some personal e-mails too. She said that she will make her reply one of these days. Fyi, There's a solemn mass held at Loyola Memorial last night at 8 p.m., there's a good number of AHS batchmates present when we're there, even nung 1st night pa lang daw. At almost 10 p.m., Pastor Menard Amoroso shared something to everyone who is in the wake of Thelma's dad, some inspirational verses from the bible.

Larry -> fyi, Felix approached me & my husband Roel personally last night. We've talked about what had happened before sa QT Kamustahan, he already told me what we both wanted him to say in front na rin ni Roel, kaya ok na. Almost 1:30 a.m. (madaling araw today, Tues., Dec. 4, na kami nakauwi ng bahay ni Roel. Kulang ang oras sa pakikipag-usap kay Thelma & to some of our batchmates who were there last night dahil nga marami ang dumating na mga nakikiramay, aside sa mga batchmates natin. You know what Larry, I also told Thelma your condolences to her which you sent to me by text, she was happy to hear it & thank you raw.

Pareng Sam -> good to see you last night, di ba ilang beses tayong nagpaalam sa lahat ng batchmates na nandoon pero tumagal pa rin sa pakikipag-kwentuhan sa kanila & to Thelma. Anyhow, maraming, maraming salamat sa iyo sa paghatid mo sa aming mag-asawa sa mismong bahay namin kahit madaling araw na. Hope to see you again soon & to read your posting here too!

Prislette -> nanghinayang din kami ni Roel when we called you up kasi sabi ni June na you just left lang daw para pumasok. Anyhow, we're happy na rin siyempre kasi nakausap namin si June. Nag-iba pala ang working schedule mo, kasi Sunday ay may pasok ka na. I asked nga Thelma if she received a call from you, Thelma said na malamang ay sa bahay ka niya tumatawag kasi hindi mo raw yata alam ang cellphone number niya. I even mentioned to Thelma na sabi ni June na you're trying to call her few days ago pa para mag-tsikahan nga raw kayo, pero hindi mo nga raw ma-contact si Thelma. I know rin na tatawag ka, kaya pag-uwi ni Thelma sa bahay nila, she will hear your voicemails

Elie -> we heard that your double celebration last Nov. 30 ay napakasaya, nagkwento kasi yung mga ka-batchmates natin last night about it eh. Hope you read our posted message here the reason why hindi kami naka-attend. Naku, tama ka, talagang nakaka-kaba nung lumindol pati na yung nangyari sa Manila Peninsula. Actually kahit nandito kami sa Cavite, tutok kami sa news sa tv & besides Freddie text us nung time na may naririnig na raw silang putukan ng baril sa Mega Petron Plaza kaya uuwi na rin daw siya that time, di ba you've mentioned na the same building sila ng husband mo?

A breakthrough to everybody's prayer for reconciliation. Thelma has had her share in trying to patch up misunderstandings before esp. during the height of the heat between two (2) QTs before. I can sense it will be true, merry Christmas to everybody for the unity that has transpired starting when Thelma stepped inside our Kapihan, Prislette posted her reconciliation with Jo here, and Letty and Felix ay "ok na"! Kami na lang siguro ni Racquel ang dapat mag-usap then ganoon din sina Mario Inosanto na ayusin nilang tatlo at iba pang involved ang totoong dulo ng magkaibang mga salaysay... and I guess EVENTUALLY THIS WILL WORK OUT TO TRUE UNITY!!!!

I will go to Baguio maybe tomorrow, maiiwan si Mrs. sa Dagupan kasi ang dami niyang papeles na asikasuhin. Hindi ko kaya ang init sa Dagupan though along the beach ay perfect for me to finish my pending poetries and short essays for our new newspaper that will be launched next year "Tinta at Prowesa".

Leticia salamat for informing Thelma hah though I know she received my series of text msgs but I understand sa lagay nya now, mahirap pang mag-access madaming asikasuhin talaga at mga bisitang dumadalaw. Good she told you she read our msgs here already.

THELMA we can identify with what you feel, I know God will be there for you always to comfort you. Dapat nga maki-meet up ako sayo ng Monday or Tuesday as you told me. But Sunday early morning between 2-3 am nag-chill ako because of acute pharyngitis so imbes sa otel pa ko lumala, they drove me to Dagupan where Frances took care of me. Then Monday morning I received a text from Letty telling me that your father passed away. Sayang talaga, siguro kung nakapunta ako mag-cross ang way namin ng ibang ka-batchmates natin, pero hindi pa panahon siguro, God has his own perfect timing!!! Pero I am very happy to learn that Leticia and Felix with Roel got the chance to thresh things out.

Felix, yung nangyari noon sa Baguio I am very sorry, kasi matanda na ang uncle ko, dapat kong sundin! Napag-usapan namin nila Thelma and Jo ito at alam nilang nahiya ako sa mga nangyari, but wala na kong magulang, sila na ang tumatayong tagapagtanggol ko. Now that okay na kayo ni Letty sana kalimutan na natin ang lahat ng namagitan. And one thing hindi ko na binigay ang link na ito sa relatives namin so they won't be able to access and influence my decisions...... Sorry kapitan Felix and congratuilations nga pala sa pagkapanalo mo sa last Barangay election.

SINCE NA RECONCILIATION ANG GUSTO NATING TUMBUKIN, LET ME POST THIS ONE KASI MATAGAL NG NASA-PUSO KO ITO:

Mario Inosanto, prayer namin sa-yo ay i-approach mo sina Sam at Ompong tungkol sa katotohanan ng nasa likod ng magkabilang istorya, kasi hindi pa nasasagot ang kay tagal ng post ni Ompong at Sam, sana matuldukan mo at maayos ang isyung 'yon bilang pagrespeto sa pinagpipitatagang pagkakaibigan nila Felix, Ompong at Menard;

Racquel, alam ko may galit ka sakin pero sana KAPWA MAGPATAWARAN NA LANG TAYO, KASI NAPAKASAKIT DIN NG BALIK MO SAKIN. Hindi mo ko masisi kasi naipit na ko ng sobrang pambabastos ng iba kaya finally I told them the source of my info. Yon naman talaga kasi ang simula ng usap noon sa Vira Mare, yun ang totoo kaya sinabi ko kasi wala naman ako talagang kaalam-alam. After that napag-usapan na at nabuksan ng ibang mga tumawag sakin from both factions. Ako ang naipit tuloy hahaha, pero ok lang.
